Humidity adsorbent

Desiccant - a humidity absorbent used inside the insulating glass unit, is the cheapest insurance policy for an insulating glass.
The durability of the glass is determined by the amount of humidity penetrating into the unit and the amount sealed within the absorbent. In an event where the water vapor will exceed the dew point moisture condensation may appear.
Depending on the pane structure, in the event of perfectly assembled units, the product durability can may be estimated at tens to a hundred years. Just a small insulation fissure in the glass may significantly reduce pane lifetime. Filling four sides of unit extends extends the durability period of the insulating glass unit by two up to six times.
