sealant for insulating glass units

Product description
The eco pur Sealant is a two-component polyurethane elaborated especially for the needs of IGU (insulating glass units) production. Thanks to an innovative catalytic system, eco pur is free of toxic Merury. The short and rare raw material PolyBD has been replaced with alternative polymers. The eco pur cures catalytically in a few hours time. The cured sealant achieves very good durability and adhesion to aluminum, glass and galvanized steel surface. A special composition of eco pur ensures very good prevention of IGU unit from the moisture penetration and gas diffusion through the sealant.

Application
eco pur is applied as secondary sealant for single and multi-chamber IGU production. Low viscosity of the sealant ensures the optimum works?ing parameters for robots as well as machines for manual application of the sealant.

Way of use
Adhesion surfaces has to be clean, free of mechanical and organic pollution. Primered aluminum enhanced adhesion strength of eco pur sealant.
The optimum parameters of cured sealant are obtained when the eco pur components are mixed at the ratio of:
volume ratio - A to B = 100:10,
weight ratio - A to B = 100:7.

Package
eco pur - component A:       steel drums, 200 liters with a PE inliner
eco pur - component B:       drums 20 liters

Storage
eco pur can be stored for six month in a dry place at temperatures between 15°C and 30°C. Component B is sensitive to moisture, that's why packages should be opened right before use to protect them from the moisture access.
